A challenging game that develops the ability of students to estimate the number that corresponds to a distance.
Estimates are made along a number line with only its endpoints numbered. Colorful graphics reward correct answers. Students are offered a choice of working with whole numbers, integers, fractions or decimals. For each selection there are 7 to 9 levels ranging from easy to very difficult. Especially effective in clarifying negative numbers and in developing problem-solving strategies.
