Experiments verifying the wave theory of light and measuring wavelength by Young's
double slit method. Variables include: wavelength, number of slits, slit separation and
slit-to-screen distance. Results displayed clearly in high-resolution simulation of light
intensity pattern on screen and by plots of interference, diffraction and a composite of
both. Introductory section uses colorful graphics to clarify wave theory.
"Good
animated graphics...displays are excellent."
