"Easy to use, good presentation."

Discovering the relation between natural selection and genetics. Punnett square activities show effects of selection on gene frequencies. Polymorphism is graphically illustrated by the classic case of phenotype frequency changes in a moth population. Experiments on the effects of industrial pollution on a moth population illustrate the impact of changes in systems. Students vary gene frequencies, pollution levels and number of generations. Results are displayed on data tables and graphs. Lab activities included.
